Sauna and outdoor bath
A slower way to stay in Tasmania
At Myrtle Creek Farm, wellness is simple: warm up in the sauna, soak beneath the trees, listen to the creek and let the surrounding forest do the rest.
Our private sauna and outdoor bath are tucked into the landscape of the farm, creating a quiet space to unwind during your stay. Come back from a bushwalk and warm up, start a winter morning slowly, or settle into an evening soak beneath the Tasmanian sky.
Private sauna. Outdoor bath. Native forest. Two creeks. No schedule required.

Your private sauna
Warm up, slow down
Our private electric sauna is housed in a repurposed shed within the gardens, surrounded by native planting and the sounds of the farm.
It's designed as a simple, restorative part of your stay rather than a formal spa experience. Take your time, step outside into the cool Tasmanian air, then return to the warmth before heading back to the cottage.
The sauna is available exclusively to guests staying at Myrtle Creek Farm.
Nature-based wellness
A nature-based kind of wellness
You don't need a packed itinerary to feel like you've had a holiday at Myrtle Creek Farm.
The sauna and outdoor bath are part of a wider experience designed around rest, nature and simple pleasures. Spend the morning walking through the forest, cool off in the creek, have a picnic in the garden, read by the fire or simply sit outside and listen to the landscape.
The property has two creeks, landscaped gardens and native habitat, with opportunities to spot pademelons, wallabies and native birds. If you're lucky, you may even see a platypus or Tasmanian devil.
Outdoor bath under the stars
Soak, listen and switch off
Step outside for a long soak in the private outdoor bath, surrounded by gardens, the sound of running creeks, wildlife and the natural sounds of Myrtle Creek Farm.
The bath is particularly special in the cooler months, when the warmth of the water contrasts with the crisp Tasmanian air. Bring a book, pour yourself a cup of tea and stay a little longer.
